Hanuman & Nishant: Innovation in primary education

Innovations in primary education

Despite of recent success in improving the enrollment of children in schools with the help of programs like ‘Mid Day Meal’, providing primary education to every child continues to be one of the biggest challenges in India.  This is majorly because of the fact that there are not enough resources to build an infrastructure which will be sufficient enough to provide education to all. We need innovative methods and procedures through which we can reach more number of people with fewer amounts of resources.
One of the major challenges to innovation in this sector is to overcome the inertia in the system and the people who are working in this sector from a long time

Scope of the Project

  •   Understand the problems to primary education in India and the measures taken by the government till date
  • Understand the role of private players and NGOs acting in this space
  •   Talk to innovators who are working in this sector
  •  Identify the best practices or policy measures which can help increase the enrollment rates and quality of education

  2. You could probably talk to Prof. Rajeev Sharma, who offers a course called Enterprise and Innovation in Education. He can put you in touch with a lot of people in the Education sector...
